For most illustrators or creative designers whom were born in the digital era are used to draw on a notepad. However, Italian-born illustrator Francesco Chiacchio who loves doodling on the notebook considers paper as a precious element of his work. On the pages he finds the pleasure of the simple drawing, enjoying the form and shape, the motion of a curve and the density of a stroke. On paper you don’t have the option to undo a step. If you make a mistake, you have to start over or find a solution in the mistake itself. Except drawings, he loves collages. He looks the materials in the street, on the walls of the city and among the old works or magazines.
