Kakimori Metal nib - Stainless steel
Kakimori nib is easy to get started for the first-time user. The nib point has been rounded and polished with meticulous care. The nib can hold enough ink to write, dipping into an inkwell one time can last approximately one postcard of writing.
The metal nib has two material – brass and stainless steel. The latter offers a harder, toothsome writing experience than brass material. Tilt the nib below 45 degrees will help to create undulating lines and paint strokes.
Made to universal specifications to fit all standard nib holders. Rather than the traditional dip pen nib, the metal nib was created as durable and practical, as well as convenient, and offers an exceptionally smooth writing experience with ink.
*The maximum writing angle is 45 degrees.
*When removing the nib from the nib holder, gently pull it out while turning to avoid dislodging the nib mount.
*To prevent the build-up of dry ink in the grooves, rinse frequently in water during use.
*To remove stubborn dry ink, gently scrub in water with a soft toothbrush.
*If using detergent, a pH neutral detergent is recommended. Avoid alkaline detergents as they will damage the surface.
