Antoinette Poisson Small Notebook - Playing Cards (Queen)

NT$600

There are quite a few ways to interpret a deck of playing cards, and a theory goes that it is originally from French Tarot. The four card suits are meant to represent the four seasons and that the 52 cards represent the 52 weeks of the year.  The full deck of cards with only red and black, which represent day and night.

Inspired by an 18th century card game, Antoinette Poisson made it into palm-sized notebooks from the standard cards of Jack, Queen, and King.

This small notebook, with a soft cover decorated with the "Queens" pattern from the "Playing cards" collection, has nice golden label and edges.

It is easy to carry around, and can also be placed on a table or shelf as a decorative object similar to frame free painting.
